// Compare

Work out whetherwe are the right answer.

Three kinds of page live here. Head-to-head comparisons for when you already have a shortlist, alternatives guides for when you are still working out what the category even contains, and concept comparisons for the architecture questions that come before any product does.

// We publish the cases where somebody else is the better fit.

// Which one you want

Three questions, three formats.

They are separated on purpose, because deciding between two named products, shopping a category, and choosing an approach are genuinely different jobs.

// Decision intent

Comparisons

You know both names and want a call. These are head-to-head: what each product is, a side-by-side table of dimensions we can state accurately for both, what the differences mean in practice, and an explicit section on when the other one wins.

// Discovery intent

Alternatives

You are leaving something, or surveying the field. These are broader: why people go looking in the first place, what to weigh before switching, where Virex fits, and when staying put is the better decision.

// Approach intent

Concept comparisons

No product on either side. Two ways of building the same thing, weighed on what each does to your billing, your trust boundary, and whether a person can stay in the loop. These end with which situation suits which, not with a recommendation.

// How we write these

The rules we hold ourselves to.

Only what we can state accurately

Comparisons stick to dimensions we can describe correctly for both products. We do not publish competitor pricing or internal mechanics that change without notice.

No disparagement

No bug lists, no benchmarks we did not run, no characterising a competitor by its worst review. Category differences, stated plainly.

An honest exit

Every page names the cases where the other product is the better fit. If that is you, we would rather you knew now.

Dated and correctable

Each page says when it was compiled and invites correction. This category moves quickly and we would rather be fixed than flattering.
