Billing questions are usually structural rather than numeric, so here is the structure.
One subscription per organization
Your organization holds a single subscription. Each product you subscribe to adds one line item to it, rather than creating a separate agreement to track.
Seats grant access
A seat is assigned to a member for a product. Holding it is what lets that person use the product, and removing it ends their access.
Both products cost the same per seat
There is no premium product and no cheaper one. A Remote seat and a Memory seat carry the same rate, so the decision is about what you need.
Changes take effect on the subscription
Adding a product, adding seats, or reducing them adjusts the matching line item. Reductions are recorded as pending changes that take effect at the period boundary.
No feature gates between customers.
Everything a product does is available to every seat holding it. We do not hold capability back to build a pricing ladder.
The whole product
Every capability of the product a seat covers, including the MCP surface, CLI, and SDKs, with no per-feature upsell.
Organization features
Teams, projects, member management, and access grants are part of the platform rather than an upgrade.
The security model
Tenant isolation, audit logging, and server-side sessions apply to every organization regardless of size.
Support
Support is included. If something is broken we would rather hear about it than have you working around it quietly.
What we do not offer.
Every one of these is a thing people reasonably expect and will not find here.
- There is no free tier. Access begins when your organization subscribes and an admin assigns a seat.
- There is no trial period. If you want to evaluate, subscribe with one seat and cancel if it does not earn its place.
- There are no tiers within a product, so there is no cheaper version with features removed and no enterprise tier gating security controls.
- There is no usage-based component today. Seats are the unit, and overage budgets exist as controls rather than as an expected line on your invoice.
Pricing questions
How much does Virex cost?
Pricing is per seat, per month, per product, at the same flat rate for both products. The current figure is served live on this page rather than written into the copy, so it is never out of date here.
Is there a free tier or a trial?
No. Access to a product begins when your organization subscribes and an admin assigns you a seat. If you want to evaluate it, one seat for one month is the smallest honest test.
Do we need a separate subscription for each product?
No. Your organization holds one subscription containing one line item per product. Adding the second product extends that subscription rather than starting another.
Can someone have a seat on one product but not the other?
Yes. Seats are per member per product. A member can hold one, both, or neither, and admins change that at any time.
What happens when we add seats mid-cycle?
The subscription line item for that product is adjusted. Increases take effect so the member can start working, and reductions are recorded as pending changes that apply at the period boundary.
Do you offer annual billing or volume discounts?
Talk to us. Rather than publish a discount table we cannot yet honour consistently, we would prefer to answer your specific situation directly.
What happens if we cancel?
The product stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, and seats lose access after that. Cancelling one product does not affect the other line item on your subscription.
Are there charges beyond seats?
Not today. Overage budgets exist as a control for any metered usage beyond a plan allowance, and leaving a product overage off means it is never billed past its plan.
One seat is the smallest honest test.
